Position Title: Compliance Associate

Primary responsibilities includes (not limited to):

• Conduct ongoing screening of customers and third parties to identify potential risks to the firm
• Perform verification and remediation of all customer screening outputs
• Perform critical ongoing monitoring and surveillance function, which involves a detailed review of business activities and surveillance of business transactions and communications
• Investigate unusual transaction activity conducted by firm’s customer base
• Review and screen third party applications to mitigate risks to the firm
• Ensure investigation work is accurately documented and filed
• Perform internet due diligence to identify risk profile of customer and third party associations
• Performs special projects and tasks as necessary 

Skills/Requirements:

• Must be eligible to work in Israel
• Fluent English (written and verbal)
• Special consideration for foreign languages including: Arabic, Chinese, French, German or other European Languages
• Paralegal or previous Compliance experience a plus
• The candidate must have strong research skills, advanced skill in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and experience with on-line research systems including the Internet
• Ability to learn organizational structure of investigation process
• The candidate must have strong writing, analytical and communication skills and be able to multi-task and complete projects on time
• Should be a self-starter and organized; ability to work independently, without supervision.
• Able to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced business environment
• Self starter and able to work with minimal supervision
• Some awareness of risk management, compliance and AML checking procedures (desired however not required)

Start Date: ASAP

Hours: Hours: Full time, 40 hours per week. 
Monday - Thursday: 8:00am - 4:30pm & Friday: 8:00am - 2:00pm

Location: Har Hotzvim, Jerusalem

Salary: NIS 6,675 per month
